Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Strong experience in trauma and neuro
• Experience in general, vascular, ENT, ortho spine, gyn, urology, plastics, breast, eye, and robotic procedures for both general and neuro

Assignment Details:

• Shift Hours: 0700-1700
• Standard Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation includes on call
• On call is required for every service line except Open Heart, including one day each week from 3p-7a and one weekend per month from Friday 3p to Monday 7a
• Holiday coverage is expected per contract
• Orientation includes 2 weeks on day shift, with buddy call expected during orientation
