Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team. As a Production Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Provide overall leadership for the department in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee engagement.

Monitor and evaluate the production process, recommending methods to optimize yields, equipment operation, and process control while reducing waste.

Engage employees in continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive work environment focused on ownership and accountability.

Manage safety policies, ensure compliance with BRC and SQF standards, and support food safety initiatives.

Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues and ensure equipment reliability.

Bachelor's Degree in Meat/Agriculture Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.

8-10 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least five years in a management role.

Strong knowledge of food manufacturing regulations (FDA/USDA, OSHA, EPA) preferred.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.

Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, including experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
