Description:
EP Tech assignment is available for 13 weeks.
The shift is 4x10 days, running from 07:00 to 17:30.
Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are preferred.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Candidates should have the required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
On-call duties are required from 18:00 to 20:00 if necessary.
Most of the time, clinicians do not stay late and are rarely called back after their shift.
Some Saturdays are required as part of the regular weekly schedule.
If needed, clinicians may float to like units to meet facility needs.
Local candidates are not accepted, and the permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
Time off requests are considered on an individual basis upon offer.
Guaranteed hours are 70 hours per two weeks, with the potential for call-offs.
The unit involves various interventional procedures and cardiac care.
Specific skills include electrophysiology evaluations, catheterizations, and device implants.
Successful candidates will have experience with specific procedures such as cardiac ablations and stent placements.
The facility is a Magnet facility and categorized as a Level II Trauma center.
Successful candidates must be willing to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
Candidates must be willing to comply with facility policies and procedures throughout the assignment.
