Business Development Manager- Healthcare

Silgan Dispensing Systems is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager grow our Healthcare business throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic customer relationships, and expanding our market presence within pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare applications. If you're a driven sales hunter with experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging, or related industries—and you thrive on identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth—we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth throughout the assigned territory. Build relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations. Identify and qualify new opportunities while managing an active sales pipeline. Partner with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Innovation teams. Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating market trends and customer needs. Develop account plans, forecasts, and territory growth strategies. Negotiate commercial agreements that strengthen customer partnerships while protecting profitability. Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and customer engagement. Represent Silgan Dispensing Systems at customer meetings and industry events. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. 10+ years of business development, key account management, or direct sales experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, packaging, or related industries. Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills. Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities. Proven ability to exceed sales goals. Final compensation may be higher and will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall value they bring to the organization.
