Organization Overview \nAs a non-profit institution affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine and other academic partners, the facility offers a broad range of clinical services including emergency care, advanced imaging, minimally invasive surgery, and behavioral health services.

Position Summary \nThe facility is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its well-established and growing medical team in Shelton, Connecticut .
\nThis is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The physician will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team and have access to advanced diagnostic and therapeutic resources.

Essential Position Responsibilities \n- \n
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. \n
- Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy . \n
- Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of GI conditions, including GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and colorectal disorders. \n
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system. \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education. \n
- Provide patient education regarding gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and treatment options. \n

Qualifications \n- \n
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. \n
- Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship. \n
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified / Board Eligible in Gastroenterology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure. \n
- Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates and recent fellows are encouraged to apply. \n
