• Actively seeking a Neurology physician to join our group, providing high quality medical and surgical care to patients in an office-based setting.
\n
• Full-time

• Permanent position
Job Responsibilities: \n
• Provides medical care related to disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system.
\n
• Examines patients, obtains medical histories.
\n
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic tests.
\n
• Creates treatment plans.
\n
• Initiates appropriate referrals to specialists and hospital programs.
\n
• Ensures proper patient documentation is timely, accurate and complete.
\n
• Works with practice management to ensure proper compliance with billing and coding.
\n
• Promotes wellness and health education.
\n
• Participates in on-call coverage with Neurology providers at Griffin Hospital.
\n
• Provides quality supervision of residents, medical students, nurses, medical assistants and other clinical staff at the site.
Education/Licensing Requirements: \n
• Graduation from accredited medical school (MD or DO).
\n
• Graduation from accredited Neurology residency program.
\n
• Valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain.
\n
• Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
\n
• Board certified in Neurology.
