Position Summary

The Jamba Assistant General Manager supports the overall performance of the store, including operations, guest experience, sales growth, and financial results. This role helps lead, develop, and motivate a team of Team Members and Shift Managers while supporting the General Manager in ensuring brand excellence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and model exceptional guest service.

·        Support daily store operations, including food preparation and guest interactions.

·        Assist in driving sales performance, revenue growth, and profitability.

·        Support inventory, ordering, and food/labor cost controls.

·        Help recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

·        Execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

·        Address guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally.

·        Partner with the General Manager, regional leaders, and corporate leaders to ensure brand standards are met.

Job Requirements & Physical Demands

·        Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

·        Ability to bend, squat, and perform repetitive hand/arm movements.

·        Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

·        Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

·        Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours within applicable laws.

·        Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes.

·        Ability to evaluate products by taste, appearance, and smell.

·        Support training and development of new hires.

Minimum Qualifications

·        Minimum age: 18 years.

·        High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

·        Minimum of 1–2 years of successful supervisory or management experience.

·        Experience supporting sales, labor, food cost, or other store performance goals preferred.

·        Current ServSafe certification required, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

·        Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail or restaurant environment.

·        Experience supervising hourly team members preferred.

·        Hospitality, retail, or restaurant experience preferred.

·        Background in nutrition is a plus.

·        Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

·        Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·        Excellent organization and planning skills.

·        Ability to make sound decisions and influence others effectively.

·        Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications.

·        Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

·        Reliable transportation.
