Maintenance Tech (Class 4)Primary Goals and Responsibilities:Assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance tradesMaintains tools and materials supplyCleans work area, machines and/or equipmentAssists general maintenance workers by holding materials or tools or performing other tasks as directedOther duties as assignedRole Requirements:Experienced in industrial safety practices.Has manufacturing plant experienceCan read layout drawingsHas 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.Working Conditions:Required to communicate in an industrial setting at a moderate noise level.Required to stand and walk on a concrete surface for 8 hours per day.Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust for focus.Work Environment:Moving mechanical partsNoise levels moderate to loudNon-climate control facility environmentEmployee may be required to work above ground level or in small work areas
