Senior Technical Business Analyst (Platforms & Developer Experience)

Role Overview
An analytical, communicative, and technically grounded Senior Technical Business Analyst is sought to join our dynamic team and drive software solution delivery across enterprise platforms. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical execution by gathering requirements, breaking them down into actionable user stories, managing projects from inception to implementation, and supporting developer experience (DevEx) initiatives, developer portals, and observability platforms.

This is a high-visibility technical BA position for a professional who understands what happens "under the hood" of software development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, support production operations, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure seamless solution delivery across web, mobile, and technical infrastructure systems. Key Responsibilities
Requirements Engineering & Solution Delivery
• Requirement Elicitation: Engage business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, analyze, and translate complex business needs into precise technical specifications and user stories.
• Full-Lifecycle Management: Drive software development solutions from inception to implementation using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, managing backlogs and tracking workflows via Jira.
• Testing & UAT: Document and coordinate project testing efforts, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and work alongside project managers to identify, track, report, and resolve issues promptly.
• Platform Focus: Support specialized technical initiatives including developer portals, observability platforms, monitoring dashboards, alerting solutions, and DevEx tooling.

Support, Operations & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Operational Alignment: Collaborate directly with support teams, understanding production support processes, technical architecture, and engineering workflows to ensure operational readiness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with technical and non-technical audiences, asking probing questions to uncover requirements and manage expectations.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with multidisciplinary teams throughout implementation, bridging business strategy and technical execution.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (an MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly valued).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in business analysis, technical product ownership, or a related solution-delivery role within a technical environment.
• Technical & Functional Mastery:
oStrong, demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), development processes, and technical architecture.
oHands-on experience working with cross-functional technical teams throughout implementation and production support.
oProficiency utilizing issue-tracking and agile management tools (such as Jira).
oProven experience translating business requirements for web, mobile, or enterprise platform technologies.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills; outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of tailoring messages for both technical engineers and business leadership; naturally curious, collaborative, and outgoing.

Preferred Attributes
• Prior experience acting as a Technical Product Owner or operating in a highly technical BA role focused on internal tools or developer experience (DevEx).
• Familiarity with sales technologies, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), or large-scale consumer applications (web and mobile).
• Experience operating within entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale consumer-facing digital ecosystems.

Work Arrangement & Next Steps
• Work Schedule: Hybrid arrangement (In-office Monday through Thursday, remote on Fridays).
