Personal Injury Attorney

Ekspert Counsel is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side personal injury practice in Miami. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys advocating for injured clients, and has substantial experience managing personal injury cases through litigation and resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent courtroom skills, and the ability to independently manage a caseload from pre-suit through trial. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. Responsibilities Manage a personal injury caseload from pre-suit through litigation and resolution. Develop case strategy and oversee all aspects of litigation. Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal filings. Take and defend depositions, including parties, witnesses, and experts. Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other litigation proceedings. Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel. Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in trial proceedings. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy. Review medical records, billing records, and evidence to assess damages and liability. Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Florida Bar membership in good standing. Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience. Significant experience handling personal injury matters from inception through resolution. Strong background in discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Trial experience as first or second chair is preferred.
