Senior Accountant
Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid/Onsite) Pay rate: $45/hr on W2 (Weekly pay and benefits includes Medical, Dental and Vision) Duration: 12-Month Contract (Extension/Conversion Possible) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation records in SAP
- Prepare journal entries, financial reports, variance analysis, and corporate reporting
- Handle government financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Support cash management, treasury functions, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with offshore accounting teams and assist with process improvements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc accounting projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong SAP ERP experience (required)
- Experience with GL reconciliations and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
