Under the direct supervision of a Nurse, the Patient Care Tech provides basic nursing care for the personal and comfort needs of the patient. Units & Shifts Available: 3 North Cardiology Shift: Full-Time Days Full-Time Nights Part-Time Evenings 2 North Med/Surg Shifts: Full-Time Days 3 East Med/Surg Shifts: Part-Time Days, Weekends Only Please note: shifts will include a weekend and holiday rotation Shift Differentials: Shift differential of $2.65/hr for hours worked 3pm-7am Weekend shift differential of $2.50/hr for hours worked between Friday 11pm to Monday 7am Join us and make a difference in the lives of patients while building a rewarding career in healthcare. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN. Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients. Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service. Qualifications Experience: Must be at least 16 years old Please note: Some positions may require at least 18 years old License(s)/Certification(s): CNA Certification preferred Basic CNA Course or EMT-B Certification Valid Driver's License when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within three months from date of hire Minimum Experience: Comprehensive on-the-job training provided #J-18808-Ljbffr UnityPoint Health
