Licensed Practical Nurse

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for providing quality nursing care in a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Assist in directing nursing services on the unit under supervision of a Registered Nurse. Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor work performance. Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition. Notify physicians of emergencies or patient changes and implement medical orders. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with renewal proof every other year. Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies for coverage. Ability to deliver compassionate, quality care, follow doctors’ orders, and interest in geriatric nursing. Yearly CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
