Licensed Practical Nurse

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a caring healthcare environment. Responsibilities Include Assisting in directing nursing services for the unit, following the Nursing Practice Act, under RN supervision. Delegating tasks to nursing staff and monitoring their performance. Observing patients for symptoms or reactions indicating adverse changes. Notifying physicians of emergencies or patient deaths and implementing orders as instructed. Performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with biennial renewal proof. Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies for coverage. Ability to deliver quality care, follow physician orders, and demonstrate interest in geriatric nursing. Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings. Additional Information: Background checks and a drug-free workplace are required.
