The Automotive Parts Manager oversees the efficient operation of the parts department, specializing in both OEM and aftermarket automotive components. This role involves managing a team of 1-5 employees to ensure inventory accuracy, vendor relationships, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining budget and sales targets.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of OEM and aftermarket automotive parts
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Process orders accurately and maintain stock levels
• Supervise and train a team of 1-5 employees
• Monitor sales trends and analyze sales performance
• Ensure quality control of parts and service
• Oversee budgeting and cost control for the parts department
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues
• Set and adjust parts pricing to maximize profitability
• Maintain vendor relations and negotiate contracts
• Prepare and submit regular inventory and sales reports

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in automotive parts
• Proficient with inventory management systems
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts
• Experience managing vendor relationships
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated team leadership ability
• Budget management experience
• Sales analysis and negotiation skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
