What we need… The Financial Management Specialist is primarily responsible for financial systems implementations and upgrades. This individual will assist in providing support for advanced system issues and the continual troubleshooting, upgrading and enhancements of COCC’s financial systems for our banking clients. This person will maintain an in-depth knowledge of COCC’s financial applications and functions as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of the applications. A Financial Management Specialist will work with clients to understand their needs while providing solutions that map client requirements to system functionality and process improvements. To learn more about our comprehensive benefit programs, please visit: What you’ll do… Gather and review data necessary to understand functional and technical requirements as they apply to system implementations and support bank accounting functions, customer support, data conversions and core general ledger interface work. Assist with data conversions and travel periodically to support client conversions and implementations. Analyze client’s business practices while working to determine how they can be supported and enhanced by COCC’s financial applications Conduct client meetings with all levels of staff and management, including executive representation Educate clients on business process improvements that may increase efficiency through the use of COCC’s technology solutions Support the setup, testing and troubleshooting of core GL interface builds. Perform and support various account reconciliations Handle a high volume of calls while keeping other projects on track with their scheduled timelines Perform training needs assessments, manage and contribute to the creation of training curriculums; Execute training programs for our clients and internal customers Create requirements and test improved system functionality that meets the evolving business needs of our clients What you’ll bring… Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience 3-5 years experience in banking with a focus on financial accounting, financial applications support, or a related operational accounting role. Experience with accounting software, such as Oracle Financials; INSIGHT experience a plus Aptitude to learn new software applications Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure when dealing with dissatisfied customers Can adequately represent the entire organization while communicating system problems and/or deficiencies to customers while continuing to deliver superior customer service Possess business knowledge and interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with senior management as well as the general user community Ability to maintain a positive attitude, have ownership and be accountable Ability to learn quickly, adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Ability to understand system project methodologies and relational database structures and concepts Ability to travel on occasion to client sites, 4-5 times per year The salary range for this position is $56400-76400 annually Applicants
