Optomi, in partnership with a leading manufacturer in the construction materials industry, is seeking a Software Engineer to join a growing enterprise applications team. This individual will play a key role in building and supporting integrations across critical business systems, helping onboard newly acquired companies and ensuring data flows seamlessly across manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, and operational platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges and working across a wide variety of enterprise systems. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity offering insurance benefits for the contract period.

Experience of the right candidate:

• 6+ years of software development experience. Strong experience with C# and .NET development
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Proven experience designing and supporting system integrations
• Experience building and consuming APIs and web services
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Manufacturing, supply chain, or ERP-related experience is a plus

Technical Environment: C#, .NET, SQL, REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, Azure DevOps, Git, Azure Data Factory (ADF), JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Command Alkon, McLeod, Princeton TMX, Enterprise Integrations

We will be putting a high emphasis on:

• Building integrations that enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems
• Developing APIs, background processes, and SQL-driven integration solutions
• Supporting newly acquired business units and onboarding new platforms
• Collaborating with application teams, ERP teams, and business stakeholders to solve complex business problems
