Operations Manager

Holiday Inn Downtown Chattanooga Location: Chattanooga, TN, 37402 Position Overview The Holiday Inn Downtown Chattanooga is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our full-service hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure smooth and efficient hotel functioning while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all operational aspects of the full-service hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments. Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Monitor daily financial performance and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive guest relations. Collaborate with department heads to optimize workflow and improve service delivery. Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Qualifications Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a full-service hotel environment. Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work weekends and the shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Familiarity with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
