LaScala Restaurant Group is coming to Bridgewater, Nj in December. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead the opening of our newest location.

Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Bridgewater, NJ is responsible for overseeing daily operations across service, kitchen, and bar areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience. The General Manager works closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to manage staffing, training, and shift performance, including opening and closing procedures. Core responsibilities include monitoring food and beverage quality, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and supporting the execution of service in accordance with brand guidelines. The manager also oversees inventory, assists with ordering, tracks labor and cost controls, and partners with leadership on sales initiatives and local marketing. This role requires regular floor presence, problem-solving in real time, and coaching team members to uphold company values and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing restaurant operations, including front-of-house service, kitchen coordination, and bar oversight.

• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising, training, scheduling, and developing diverse teams.

• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and health regulations applicable to restaurant environments.

• Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and interpret basic financial or performance reports.
\n
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and guest relations skills, with a service-oriented mindset.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure during peak hours.

• Previous restaurant management or multi-unit experience is highly preferred; bar management experience is a plus.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business requires.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or business is beneficial.
