VP, Sales | AI Forward SaaS (Tampa)

With 20% revenue growth and 600+ deals closed this year, the product has an incredibly strong product market fit. This product has revenue projection complexity that's based on seasonality, regionality, and several other factors. As the Co-founder steps away from leading Sales, they need a commercial leader who thinks like a GTM Engineer to take on team leadership, forecasting, and sales process. The hire walks into a strong team, a dedicated Demand Gen leader, RevOps support, and an AI-forward environment that includes an AI SDR feeding the inbound team.

What You Will Own

• Lead and coach a team of AEs and account managers
• Own the forecast across every sales motion, short and long term
• Set quotas and hold the team accountable to them
• Build and roll out sales process, from revenue goal to execution
• Direct RevOps and partner with Demand Gen on lead quality
• Own volume pricing for larger accounts

What You'll Need

This role is a strong fit for SaaS sales leaders who have coached SMB sales teams through high-velocity sales cycles, ideally in sports software or other SaaS with seasonality.

• Led a frontline sales team in high-velocity software sales
• Sold (or led a team selling) to SMB owners and operators
• Built a sales playbook, or revamped sales processes that stuck
• Built forecasts and quotas by working backward from a revenue goal
• Data-driven, with a habit of partnering with RevOps on metrics
• Daily AI user with a GTM engineer mindset
• Be located in/near Tampa (or willing to relocate) - 3 days/week in office

Plus Skills

• Experience in youth spots, sports software, or
• Seasonal or regional revenue forecasting
• Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools
