Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Operations Manager to join the Power & Thermal Management division.

Responsible for leading the Sales Operations Assistant team and improving the processes, systems, and reporting that support the sales organization. This role oversees daily operations, workload management, and team performance while collaborating across departments to improve efficiency, data accuracy, communication, and overall sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Main job duties:
• Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Operations Assistant team by establishing clear expectations, providing regular feedback, delegating responsibilities, and reinforcing accountability.
• Monitor workloads, open tasks, team capacity, and coverage; proactively address imbalances, aging work, operational risks, and staffing gaps.
• Create and maintain documented processes, standard operating procedures, escalation paths, system requirements, and guidance for common exceptions.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Finance, Operations, Logistics, and other business partners to improve processes and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Identify, develop, and implement sustainable process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, communication, and team effectiveness.
• Partner in managing and improving Salesforce, SAP, and related tools, including applicable system administration, configuration, testing, and user support.
• Analyze operational and sales data to identify trends, risks, training needs, and opportunities for improvement; provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Create, validate, and distribute recurring sales, commission, and operational reports accurately and on schedule.
• Manage assigned operational projects and initiatives from planning through implementation, including coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating results.
• Perform other similar or related duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with emphasis in Business, or related
field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Experience :
• At least five years in sales operations, customer operations, order management, inside sales operations, or a similar function
• Two or more years of direct people-management experience, including coaching, delegation, performance management, and employee development
• Demonstrated success identifying operational risks and addressing them
• Development and implementation of process improvements
• Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Sales, Inside Sales, Finance, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain
• CRM and ERP experience; Salesforce.com and SAP are strongly preferred


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Project management skills including organizing, delegation and coordination of tasks.
• Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint), experience with Salesforce.com & SAP preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups in the organization
• Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
