Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Support in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and media location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, while assisting with visitor processing and following site protocols for deliveries, contractors, and/or guests. Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns, and helping with requested post duties based on location needs. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
