Smiles Brighton is a small, patient-focused private dental practice in Kansas City, MO, dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care. Unlike corporate dental offices, we prioritize quality over quantity, taking the time to truly listen to each patient’s needs. We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our tight-knit team. This role offers a relaxed, non-pressure environment where you can spend quality time with each patient, focusing on thorough care and education. Requirements

Basic life support
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Licensed dental hygienist
X-ray / Radiography Certification

Registered Dental Hygienist license in Missouri
CPR Certification
Proficiency in root planing, periodontal assessment, and dental X-rays
Strong communication skills and passion for patient education
Ability to work full-time (30–33 hours/week) on the following schedule:
Monday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Tuesday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Description

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care including prophylaxis, root planing, and periodontal assessments
Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment plans
Take dental radiographs as needed, with limited full-mouth X-rays since new patients are seen first by the dentist
Document patient information and treatment accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
Collaborate closely with the dentist and support staff to ensure excellent patient care
Provide compassionate care and build trusting patient relationships
