Ultrasound Technician

The Ultrasound Technician will perform routine and complex sonography procedures independently. This role requires exercising sound judgment and executing developed clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures. The technician must deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gaining the confidence and cooperation of patients, their families, and other healthcare providers is essential. Competent patient assessment and attentive monitoring are necessary for effective communication. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is required to ensure privacy and safety. The Ultrasound Technician may also be responsible for performing specific procedures and orienting other staff to the department.
