Senior Marketing Manager

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of B2B marketing experience who can grow MoreSteam’s reach and demand. At its core, the job is to (1) create content worth finding, (2) get it in front of the right people, and (3) give those people a reason to keep engaging. Doing that well takes someone who is practical, curious, a little opinionated, and interested in how systems work. You should be a strong writer who is comfortable with SEO and marketing technology, can connect different channels into cohesive campaigns, and uses data to learn and improve. Our products are technical and we market to a technical audience, so you've got to be a little geeked out about process, engineering, or the scientific method. This is a broad, hands-on role on a small marketing team. You'll have significant ownership over content, organic growth, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing, but you won't be expected to do everything alone. This is a full-time hybrid role that is 3 days in our Powell / Columbus, OH office and 2 days working from home. What We're Looking For A strong writer and marketer who can make complex subjects approachable and understandable without oversimplifying them A good eye for design and how content is presented, including visual hierarchy, usability, and how words and visuals work together Experience with content marketing, SEO & GEO/AEO, email marketing, lead nurture, and marketing automation The ability to plan and execute integrated product marketing campaigns Someone who is comfortable getting out from behind the screen. You'll work directly with customers, subject-matter experts, and people across MoreSteam, so you need the confidence to start conversations, ask good questions, and represent Marketing on your own A curiosity and willingness to dig into technical products, unfamiliar subjects, and how things work An interest in how AI is changing buyer behavior and reshaping how people discover and evaluate products An analytical mind who can use performance data to make marketing decisions Someone with a good blend of self-directed and collaborative working styles Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics/Search Console, SEO and CMS platforms, webinar platforms, LinkedIn and Google Ads, and AI-assisted marketing workflows is valuable. You don't need to be a data scientist, but you should be comfortable asking good questions about marketing data, recognizing patterns, and changing course when something isn't working. This role has three primary areas of responsibility: Content & Organic Growth Create content worth finding. You'll develop credible, useful articles, share customer stories, develop thought leadership by interviewing SMEs, and other content while leading SEO, AEO/GEO, content optimization, and organic growth efforts. Demand Generation & Acquisition Get MoreSteam in front of more of the right people. You'll build campaigns that bring together email, paid media, web, social, webinars, events, and content to generate awareness, engagement, and leads. Lifecycle & Conversion Give people a reason to keep engaging with us. You'll use segmentation, nurture sequences, re-engagement initiatives, landing pages, automation, and follow-up campaigns to help interested prospects take the next step. Across all three, you'll measure performance, test what works, and look for ways to make our marketing work together and better.
