Medicare Sales Agent - Hybrid in Dublin, OH,

Location & Schedule Location: Dublin, OH. This is a hybrid role with two in-office days per week and the possibility to work from home up to three business days per week after completion of training and the on‑job nesting period. The position follows a full‑time schedule with Monday–Friday operating hours of 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM local time and rotational weekend work during training. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls from prospective members, identify the type of assistance and information the customer needs with the goal of converting callers to qualified leads and sales. Follow up with members on questions or to review current or new products and services. Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while maintaining active listening and engagement. Demonstrate product portfolio knowledge by addressing member needs, explaining differences between products, and assisting in the selection of the best‑fit products. Assist in completion of the enrollment application over the phone, staying consistent with product requirements and enrollment guidelines. Meet the goals established for the position in the areas of performance, attendance, and consumer experience. Meet and maintain requirements for agent licensure, appointments, and annual product certification. Compensation & Benefits Base pay + monthly sales incentive. Average annual earnings $50,000 to $65,000 through a combination of base pay and commissions. Top performers can earn $80,000 or more. Sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 for licensed applicants and up to $2,000 for unlicensed applicants. Paid Time Off: 15 accrued days in the first year plus 8 paid holidays. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of customer service or sales experience. Within 30 days, obtain all appropriate state insurance licenses (may be completed during training). Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts, including the training period, with flexibility to adjust schedules, work overtime, and/or weekends as needed. Must live within commutable distance to UnitedHealthcare’s office at 5900 Parkwood Place, Dublin, OH. Preferred Qualifications Previous sales experience. Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications and ability to learn new and complex systems.
