Youll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision. The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - its about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.? ? Key Responsibilities ? Safe Driving : Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner? Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas 100% touch freight? Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures? Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience? Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards? Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable? Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management? ? Physical Requirements ? Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80 lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required? Working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10 per shift) required? ? Qualifications ? Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*? Must be at least 21 years of age? Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications? Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required? Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations? Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records? ? Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $15.95/hr and $45.00/hr.? ? As applicable, this role may also receive: overtime compensation, retention bonus, component pay (i.e., based on cases, mileage, stops). ?
