Lead Biochemist – Quality Control Night Shift Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across multiple industries. We are seeking a Lead Biochemist for our Quality Control Night Shift in Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities: Perform wet chemistry testing HPLC, UV‑Vis, CE Sample receipt Glassware washing Use ALCOA to document test results in electronic notebooks Support various QC labs where work is needed Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, and perform succession planning in preparation for growth Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.) or other related concentration, with a minimum of 4 years of experience At least 2 years of GMP industry leadership experience is required Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity Proactive, positive, solution‑oriented leadership style with the ability to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous projects with varying deadlines Strength in employee engagement, morale, and retention Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Proficiency in IT‑related skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position Details: The position is full-time, 8 pm to 6 am, Wed to Sat or Sun to Wed (4 × 10 h shift) May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply Ability to work overtime as required Excellent full‑time benefits, including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options Life and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays
