Visa sponsorship provided: No Location: Wilmington, MA Remote Status: no remote Pay Type: Annual Salary Salary: /US Dollars Occupational Categories: Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Production/ Operations Industry(ies): Aerospace / Defense Engineering Manager Wilmington, MA July 2026Our client offers solutions for designing electromechanical sensingtechnologies and managing diverse project portfolios, including newproduct development, advanced R&D, sustaining engineering (field andfactory support), and strategic initiativesThey need a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a Product Engineeringteam that has end to end responsibility for the Electric and FluidSystems product lines, managing the full product lifecycle from conceptthrough production and sustainment.The Senior Engineering Manager drives innovation across new productdevelopment (NPD) and R&D initiatives ensuring robust support of theinstalled product base through Sustaining Engineering and ValueAnalysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) activities.The Senior Engineering Manager is accountable for maintaining compliancewith quality management system requirements, including productdevelopment processes, configuration control, and product reliabilitystandards.The Senior Engineering Manager is a key member of the engineeringleadership team and will focus on building organizational capability,leveraging emerging technologies, and advancing scalable, disciplinedengineering processes.The Senior Engineering Manager will balance team leadership withhands-on technical oversight, leading multiple engineering programs andcustomer engagements.Responsibilities:- Lead and develop the Product Engineering organization to ensurealignment to strategic objectives and growth priorities.- Provide end to engineering leadership across the product lifecycle,including New Product Development, advanced development, andsustaining engineering, ensuring high-quality, reliable, andmanufacturable product solutions.- Drive design development continuous improvement of electromechanicalsensing products ,focused on innovation, product differentiation,and competitiveness.- Ensure disciplined processes are applied, design controls,configuration management, and product reliability practices, thatcomply with the QMS- Build develop coach the team, fostering technical excellence,accountability, and continuous improvement- Champion development and adoption of new technologies, tools,methodologies to enable scalable engineering execution and sustaincompetitive advantage.- Partner with customers and cross-functional teams, deliversolutions, ensuring strong technical engagement, responsiveness, andlong-term relationships.- Demonstrate leadership in technical execution and customer-focuseddelivery, balancing hands-on engineering involvement with effectiveteam management.Qualifications:- BS and/or MS degree in Mechanical or a related engineeringdiscipline- 3 + years leading engineering teams in a product developmentenvironment- Responsible for performance management, talent development teambuilding.- 5 + years design development electromechanical sensingfluid/electrical systems- Proven ownership of products from concept thru production andsustainment.- Proven track record managing engineering project portfolios andworkstreams,- Experience operating in regulated industries and familiarity withFAA certification.- Expert with design and analysis tools for data-driven development,problem solving.- US Citizenship requiredWhy is This a Great Opportunity :Company growing need an Engineering Manager who wants to drive change for success
