Machine Operator - Springfield, NJ

• Pay Rate: $22.00 - $30.00 / hour

• Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate production machinery, maintain documentation, and ensure the production of top-quality products while adhering to all company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and downstream equipment safely and efficiently.

• Perform scheduled equipment changeovers.

• Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), SPC charting, and quality measurements.

• Follow strict safety protocols, proper PPE usage, and OSHA guidelines when operating equipment.

• Maintain clean work areas through proper housekeeping and sanitation practices in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

• Skills: communication skills, ability to troubleshoot machine issues, and capacity to work well under pressure.

• Physical Demands: Medium work requiring the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, stand for sustained periods, and perform regular physical movements (climbing, reaching, lifting, grasping).

• Environment: Ability to work in conditions subject to noise, vibrations, extreme heat, and moving mechanical parts.
