Principal Product Manager- Hybrid Cloud Platforms

Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.The OpportunityWe are looking for a seasoned Product Management professional to join our dynamic and growing Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Platform group. In this role, you will drive the product portfolio strategy, roadmap, enablement and go-to-market to unlock the full potential of the Nutanix platform on general purpose servers at the edge, data centers or hosted by service-providers. Operating in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of compute, virtualization, and software-defined storage, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, alliances, hardware partners, and sales to evaluate and integrate the latest hardware technologies to optimize platform performance and scale our hardware ecosystem.About the TeamAt Nutanix, you'll be joining the Product Management team, a geodispersed group of dedicated professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment. We operate in a hybrid work setup, requiring team members to come into the office three days a week, which allows for vital face-to-face collaboration while also providing flexibility. Travel may be necessary from time to time, but it will be limited and based on project needs and team engagements.Your RoleDrive the multi-product server platform strategy and roadmap — balancing next-gen technology integration with executive alignment across edge, data center, and service-provider deployment scenarios.Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for server platforms — translating market trends into precise component requirements, qualifying hardware models, and guiding products from initial concept to post-launch sales ramp.Conduct ongoing data analysis & market validation to fuel product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement collateral that sharply communicate the value of Nutanix on general-purpose servers.Partner across Engineering, Alliances, Marketing, and Sales Ops to streamline qualification processes and automate quoting/selection tools, removing friction to accelerate revenue growth on target platforms.What You Will BringBachelor's degree (CS/IT preferred; MBA a plus) with deep knowledge of virtualization, x86 server hardware, or storage platforms.5+ years of PM experience with a proven track record of conceiving, building, and launching industry-leading products.Strong background in enabling field teams and supporting pre-sales engagements, with technical business development experience preferred.High-energy leadership DNA with the ability to inspire engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.Visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time.Work ArrangementHybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 195,000 and USD $ 391,000 per year.However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
