Embrace a fulfilling contract opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services to elementary students in a dynamic educational environment near Jaffrey, NH. As a valued professional, you'll deliver specialized support to young learners, making a tangible difference in their school experience and daily life.
This full-time position focuses on an elementary caseload, with an additional opportunity to work directly with a charter school student. You'll conduct targeted pull-out and push-in sessions, designed to promote functional skills and encourage student participation in the classroom setting. The unique schedule offers flexibility, as direct OT sessions for the charter school student may take place in the morning before transitioning to the elementary school.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy certification in New Hampshire
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to supporting student independence and growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy to elementary-aged students
- Provide 2x/week pull-out and 1x/week push-in OT sessions for the charter school student
- Assess students’ needs and collaborate with educators and families
- Document progress, set goals, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Create engaging, evidence-based interventions to enhance student success
