Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Full Time

Jackson HealthPros is hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a permanent position with a local outpatient healthcare provider in PETERBOROUGH, NH. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This is a part-time nights position (approximately 2-12 hour shifts per week, varied). The duration listed is 52 weeks with a start date in June 2026. Local candidates are preferred.

Minimum Requirements :

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing. Compact license not accepted.
• BLS (AHA) certification. Documentation required.
• ACLS certification. Documentation required.
• NRP highly preferred. Documentation requested if available.
• Must maintain Respiratory Therapist license while employed.
• Experience with ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, medication administration via nebulizer and metered dose inhaler preferred.
• Cross-training or experience performing pulmonary function testing (PFT) preferred.
• Work experience in acute or critical care settings preferred. One year as an RRT is preferred.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies under general supervision.
• Operate and manage ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Administer respiratory medications via nebulizer and metered dose inhaler.
• Cross-train and assist with pulmonary function studies.
• Serve as a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary care team in acute and critical care situations.
• Act as a resource and trainer within the Respiratory Therapy Department as needed.

Additional Notes :

• Part-time, benefit-eligible position at approximately 24 hours per week may be considered.
• Weekend requirements to be determined.
