4:30pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday

QPS Employment Group has a great Production Lead position at a company in O'Fallon, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Production Lead Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Follows all safe work procedures and general plant rules while performing the job and ensure all associates are also following these guidelines.
• Facilitates workflow to make sure customer orders are complete and on time.
• Oversees training of all personnel and maintains training records.
• Maintains and controls inventory levels.
• Measures and inspects metal stampings, weldments, and assemblies for conformance.
• Examines defective parts to determine cause of defect and recommends changes or modifications.
• Interprets prints and specifications.
• Uses tools and gages to inspect parts as needed.
• Assists in APQP and PPAP process.
• Addresses personnel issues, bringing concerns to manager and HR when necessary.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintains a high level of quality.
• Must be Certified Forklift Operator.
• Other duties as required.

Production Lead Requirements:

High school diploma required. 1 to 3 years supervisory training and/or experience. OSHA training required.

Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, production schedules, customer orders, quality documents, and blueprints. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build a cohesive team.

Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; read and interpret blueprints required.

Understands written, verbal and diagrammed instructions and give clear direction to all team members.

Ability to talk, hear, see, and use hands/fingers to handle or feel.

Ability to frequently walk or stand for long periods of time for up to 10 hours a day.

Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, or kneel.

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. If greater than 50 lbs., it will require assistance or the use of lifting equipment.
