Senior Analytics Engineer

Senior Analytics Engineer Manufacturing & Supply Chain Focus Remote (EST Hours)$140K to $170K base plus bonus We are working with a high-growth manufacturing business that is investing heavily in its data platform to support supply chain operations, production planning, inventory management, and operational analytics. This role will be instrumental in building a scalable analytics foundation that enables data-driven decision making across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and operations teams. The Role You will own the analytics engineering layer supporting manufacturing and supply chain functions, partnering closely with business stakeholders to deliver trusted data, operational visibility, and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Building dbt models to support manufacturing, inventory, procurement, and supply chain analytics
- Developing ELT pipelines using tools such as Airbyte and Python
- Designing datasets for production, inventory, logistics, supplier, and operational performance reporting
- Supporting BI and dashboard development in Looker
- Partnering with operations, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams to define and monitor KPIs
- Enabling self-service analytics across manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders
- Improving data quality and governance across operational systems
- 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering
- Strong SQL and dbt experience
- Experience working with manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or operations data
- Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses and BI tools
- Experience supporting stakeholder-driven analytics initiatives and operational reporting
- Experience with ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, or other operational systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Experience supporting inventory optimization, production planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics
- Exposure to BigQuery, Looker, or Airbyte
- Python experience
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, consumer goods, distribution, or supply chain environments
