Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Deli Associate to work evening and night shifts . The ideal candidate has hands-on experience preparing sandwiches, salads, fresh juices, and platters , provides excellent customer service, and maintains a clean, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and heroes
- Assemble cold platters (sandwich, meat, cheese, and specialty platters)
- Prepare fresh salads and fresh-squeezed juices/smoothies
- Take customer orders and communicate clearly and respectfully in English
- Maintain a clean and sanitary deli, prep area, and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock ingredients and prep items for the next shift
- Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, blenders, juice machines)
- Work independently during slower night hours and efficiently during rushes
- Keep knowledge of stocked goods and inventory
Requirements
- Previous deli or food service experience preferred
- Experience with sandwiches, salads, juices, and platters
- Must speak and understand English
- Willing and able to work night shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Schedule
- Evening and overnight availability required
- Weekends may be required
