About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to spearhead the transformation of its global IT and cybersecurity function. This executive will be the primary architect of the technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, and digital strategy, with a focus on enabling the company to scale efficiently in the global semiconductor market. The role is pivotal, with a direct line to the CEO, and demands a strategic thinker who can set a long-term IT vision while also being hands-on in driving execution. Responsibilities include defining and executing a global IT roadmap, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems across all global sites. The successful candidate will also be responsible for team leadership, vendor management, and will be expected to have a strong background in IT leadership, particularly in technology industries. Applicants for the Vice President of Information Technology position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 8 years' in a senior IT role. A proven track record in leading IT functions within semiconductor, EDA, hardware, or related technology industries is essential. The role requires deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems, as well as experience in digital transformation and managing globally distributed teams. Strong executive communication skills and experience in IT vendor negotiation and budget management are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience in a fabless semiconductor or IP licensing company, familiarity with EDA tools, and professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader, capable of inspiring and developing a high-performing IT team, and will be adept at building cross-functional relationships to elevate the IT function's reputation as a trusted business partner.
