Chief Stewardess 45+mt Temporary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Stewardess to join a busy private and charter program for a month starting IMMEDIATELY. The vessel operates primarily between Florida and the Bahamas and is preparing for an active summer season. The upcoming itinerary includes owner trips and confirmed charters through the end of August. This role is ideal for a Chief Stewardess with strong charter experience who may have previously worked on larger yachts but remains genuinely hands-on. The interior team consists of three crew members, and the successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, actively rotating through all areas of the interior alongside the team. This is not a purser-style or heavily administrative position, nor is it a role spent behind a laptop. We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved in day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional service, and supporting the team wherever needed. The atmosphere onboard is positive and relaxed, with a close-knit and supportive crew. The Captain is fair, approachable, and flexible, and actively supports crew time off whenever the operational schedule permits. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of three interior crew members Deliver and maintain exceptional guest service standards for both private and charter operations Oversee all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, service, and interior presentation Train, mentor, and motivate the interior team Ensure smooth and efficient interior operations during owner trips and charters Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail throughout the vessel Work alongside the team in all interior departments as required Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as Chief Stewardess on similar-sized or larger yachts Proven and extensive charter experience Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Excellent guest service and hospitality standards Positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine hands‑on approach Willingness to support all areas of the interior and lead from the front Professional, adaptable, and able to thrive in a busy operational environment Candidates who enjoy being actively involved in daily operations, leading a small team by example, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy charter environment are encouraged to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gilder Search Group
