Belong to something bigger!This position is designed and intended to be performed on-site in Muscatine, IA.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and develop Safety Coordinators and site safety programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, and influencing outcomes across teams.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and lead a world-class, zero-harm safety strategy across multiple operational sitesDrive a proactive safety culture that builds engagement, ownership, and accountability at all levelsStandardize and deliver impactful safety training and awareness programs across facilitiesConduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify gaps and strengthen controlsEnsure full safety compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local regulationsPartner with operations to proactively identify and mitigate safety hazards and risksLead safety incident investigations (accidents, near-misses) and implement corrective actionsOversee safety programs including emergency response, workers' compensation, return-to-work, and safety leadership development initiativesEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in safety management, with a strong track record of leading safety programs for multiple operational sitesStrong leadership skills with the ability to build positive safety cultures and promoting employee engagement and accountability.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and loss controlAbility to travel and work at multiple operational sites across the United StatesKnowledge of workers' compensation, loss control, and risk management.Proven experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and investigations.Proven experience in designing and implementing safety programs.Ability to travel and work at multiple operational sites across the United States.TRAVEL EXPECTED:30-40% - across our manufacturing locations within consumer brands.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
