Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and urosepsis
• Titrate heparin drips based on APTT results
• Work collaboratively with the charge nurse and PCTs on the unit
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry systems
• Adapt to floating requirements based on census
• Document care efficiently using the EPIC charting system

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience in Med Surg/acute care settings
