Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

To support a growing mental health practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy and medication management in a remote setting. Key responsibilities: Diagnose psychiatric disorders and conduct individual psychotherapy for patients across the lifespan Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patients' treatment responses and medication side effects Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state regulations Required qualifications: 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP) Experience in Addiction and Mental Health treatment Ability to work with patients aged 13 years and older, including those with severe mental illness Familiarity with EHRs and telehealth technologies
