Registered Nurse CVOR

CVOR RN Opportunity

The CVOR RN is responsible for providing specialized cardiovascular surgical care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role involves collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes for complex cardiac and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with cardiovascular surgeries, including heart and valve replacements.
• Monitor and manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as XI Robot and Mako joint robot.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and hospital protocols.
• Document intraoperative activities accurately using Meditech system.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a circulating RN in CVOR or related fields.
• Demonstrated thoracic and vascular experience, including heart and valve procedures.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures (e.g., AAA, CABG, valve replacements).
• Proficiency with robotic surgical technology and OR equipment.
• BLS certification required.
