Rhino Medical is seeking experienced CRNAs for an ongoing locum tenens assignment supporting a high-acuity trauma center in Charleston, SC. This role involves providing general anesthesia in a busy hospital environment with a variety of surgical specialties, including neuro/spine, orthopedics, and oncology, across all operative sites within walking distance of the main hospital.

This opportunity offers guaranteed 13-hour shifts, some weekend work, and focuses on cases typically ranging from 3 to 5 per day. Candidates must be proficient in EPIC, have at least three years of anesthesia experience, and hold or be in process of obtaining an active SC license. Flexibility to work at both the main hospital and outpatient/ambulatory sites such as Ashley Tower and Rutledge Tower is required.

• Location: Charleston, South Carolina

• Setting: Level-one academic trauma center, 21 OR suites, interventional radiology, and non-OR sites
• Schedule: Shifts from 6:00–19:30 and 8:00–21:30, with 0.5-hour unpaid lunch, some weekend shifts, and guaranteed 13-hour shifts
• Cases: 3–5 per day, no blocks, no OB, no hearts, no cardiac cases
• Clinical Scope: General anesthesia, neuro/spine, orthopedics, oncology (ENT, GYN, Urology)
• Practice Environment: Major trauma and transplant center with extensive operative and interventional services

Requirements

• Active SC license or in process
• At least 3 years of anesthesia experience
• Proficiency in EPIC documentation
• Flexibility to work in both hospital and outpatient settings within walking distance
• Location >60 miles from site based on MUSC radius rules
• Ability to work guaranteed shifts scheduled with some weekend shifts included
