Learning Advisor - Contract

Updated: April 10, 2026 Location: Remote, United States Job ID: 14724 The Learning Advisor serves in a content oversight and development role in support of Learning Solutions Clients. This individual implements solutions designed by the Solution Design (BD) team, acting as the Learning Strategist on project teams, interacting with the client, assessing client needs, aligning the approach, directing full‑time and/or contractor writers, and assuming writing tasks as needed. The Learning Advisor may collaborate with Solution Design (BD) teams to determine training needs, develop recommendations for business development, estimate effort for new deliverables, and execute/facilitate training or train‑the‑trainer sessions. Responsibilities Interact with key client stakeholders pre‑sale, at kickoff, and throughout the project duration; manage expectations and gather insights to inform deliverable development. Collaborate with Learning Solutions BD to validate client needs pre‑sale and manage the project post‑sale; communicate project status with BD lead, SIM, and represent learning strategy and content development. Conduct needs assessments to evaluate training gaps and document outcomes; recommend learning solutions to meet needs. Develop Training Roadmaps, including curriculum, recommended modality, and sequencing to guide content development. Maintain the training concept throughout the project to ensure alignment with strategic intent; engage the client strategically. Oversee or create engaging, effective training content for multiple modalities (distance‑learning e‑modules, e‑zines, live training, communication and sustainability tools). Use AI compliantly and appropriately across daily activities to improve efficiency. Ensure content is developed using best instructional design strategies and leverages existing Learning Solutions intellectual property. Deliver training content with effective modalities in line with project budget. Collaborate with project managers to develop live training logistics and preparation support (scheduling, printing guides, facilities). Facilitate or conduct facilitator training for developed content as needed. Lead status meetings with the client team as required. Requirements Preferred 5 years of experience, minimum 3 years, in training, including copywriting and development. Preferred 10 years of experience, minimum 5 years, in the pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare industry. 4‑year college degree or equivalent relevant experience. Skills Required: High proficiency in MS Office and AI‑enabled tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini). Preferred: Background in Biopharmaceutical Sales is an advantage. Candidates should be able to comply with up to 10% travel requirements to Syneos and/or client sites. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $60–70/hr based on experience.
