Deliver exceptional outpatient care to gastroenterology patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans. Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and clinical team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Provide patient education on GI health, disease prevention, medication management, and treatment options. Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic studies related to GI conditions. Document encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR). Maintain compliance with infection control, medication administration, and safety standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Active license in good standing with the state of Florida Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. General Medicine or GI training preferred but not required – training and mentorship will be provided. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members. Proficiency in EMR documentation and time management. Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow Strong written and interpersonal communication skills Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Physical Demands The employee may be required to stand for extended periods, lift and move equipment and assist with positioning patients during procedures.
