Company Overview American Communications Solutions and By Light Professional IT Services, together as Full Spectrum Operations (FSO), are hiring dedicated and talented IT professionals under the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract. EWOCS provides reliable high‑quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Responsibilities Effectively respond to service tickets submitted by customers requesting network infrastructure support Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure components and systems, including wired and wireless networks, voice systems, and security systems Manage and administer VoIP system using Cisco Unified Communications Manager, voicemail, and gateways Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to network, voice systems, and security camera systems processes Configure and deploy network infrastructure devices including routers, switches, UPS, phones, and wireless hardware Configure network infrastructure devices to ensure efficient, reliable operation with minimal downtime or interruption to ongoing operations Maintain compliance with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Utilize various network infrastructure software applications to monitor, analyze, configure, and troubleshoot infrastructure components as needed Practice asset management, including physical inventories and maintenance of network infrastructure component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications Monitor and test network infrastructure performance and provide performance statistics and reports Manage and administer LAN/WAN network infrastructure using networking management systems Manage and administer wireless network components and access points Required Experience/Qualifications IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) and one other common computing environment certificate such as CCNA or CCNP Robust network troubleshooting skills Self‑starter who can handle multiple responsibilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to rapidly changing priorities Proficient verbal and written communication skills when working with technical and non‑technical people Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of an organization Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment and a demonstrated willingness to support the team at all levels to get the job done Preferred Experience/Qualifications BS with 3 years of experience, or AS with 5 years of experience preferred Experience or working knowledge of network infrastructure systems such as VoIP systems, security systems, LAN and WAN switches, and routers Installing network equipment and connecting end devices Experience with Cisco IOS XE Understanding of voice, data, and video Quality of Service (QoS) Experience with access control lists (ACLs), TCP/IP, VLANs, port security, IP multicast, VRFs, and OSPF Understanding of 802.1X authentication Experience with network management systems (SolarWinds) Experience with identity and access control policy platforms (Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)) Special Requirements/Security Clearance Active DoD Secret Clearance #J-18808-Ljbffr By Light Professional IT Services
