• Procedures: Inpatient neurosurgery, rounding with residents, patient care, order review, discharge planning
• Preferred Skills: Ability to remove drains (Hemovac/Jp drains)

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with residents on daily rounds and patient management plans
• Review and implement orders for inpatients
• Conduct patient exams and assessments
• Assist with discharge planning and documentation
• Provide specialist-level neuro patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Participate in patient education and family communication

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification in Neurosurgery
• Massachusetts State Licensure as a Physician Assistant
• At least 1 year of neuro-specific experience
• Ability to perform drain removal (preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience working in inpatient neurosurgical units
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
