Job summary - Route Driver/Account Manager

Ensures that all delivery and pick up activities associated with Uniform Services are performed in and accurate and timely manner so that all new accounts and all changes and repairs on existing and new accounts are correct and supplied on time, thereby maximizing customer satisfaction. Promotes Uniform Services to prospective customers and encourages existing accounts to utilize additional services.

Summary of training

• Learn how clothes, mats and towels are washed and processed and how to identify different types of those products.
• Learn to identify all products we offer for sale and rental and how to size customers using tools provided.
• Learn how to drive and maintain company vehicle.
• Learn how to run a route from start to finish, including paperwork and its purpose.
• Learn how to use an electronic handheld device for delivering goods and products.
• Understand the importance of good attendance, exceptional attitude and customer service.

Summary of essential job functions- Route Driver/Account Manager

• Carry out all aspects of running assigned route, including completing all necessary daily paperwork.
• Accepts and carries out any request given in a willing and cooperative manner.

Minimum requirements

• Able to read, write and perform basic math skills, including cash handling.
• Have valid state issued driver’s license and meet the minimum requirements set forth by Munro’s liability insurance and have less than two moving traffic violations within the past 24 months.
• Ability to drive, maneuver and exercise safety in large delivery van in tight places and heavy traffic.
• Outside sales experience in uniform services or related field is preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, detail oriented and able to solve problems quickly with little or no assistance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and 45-50 hours per week.
• Able to work harmoniously with co-workers.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including physical, drug test, background screening and MVR requirements.

Physical requirements- Route Driver/Account Manager

Able to drive a non-air conditioned vehicle and work during all types of inclement weather, including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain and wind.

• Have good or correctable vision.
• Able to bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach 72” frequently, including climbing in and out of delivery truck regularly.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 base per year plus commissions
