The facility operates a Laborist Model supporting inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, with a collaborative environment that includes partnership with midwives and GME residents on site.

Physician - OB/GYN

Job Details:

• Locum tenens coverage needed ASAP after credentialing, anticipated through Q1 2027 transition
• Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a); provider must remain on site for the entire shift
• Multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts may be completed if desired
• 1-2 providers needed to support Laborist Model coverage due to recent physician departures
• 100% inpatient and ED-based practice setting
• Average of 0-6 patients per day
• Perform OB vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Provide emergent surgical coverage as needed
• Provide gynecology coverage for the Emergency Department
• Provide practice call coverage for hospital outpatient department (HOPD)
• Round on all patients daily and manage discharges
• Partner with midwives in a collaborative care model
• Provide gynecology beeper/phone call and ED call coverage while on shift
• Document using Epic - Stork EMR system
• Active Ohio license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification required
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• ACLS Certification required
• Active DEA required
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 4 months
• Approved travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
