Travel CMA - Family Medicine (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced CMA - Family Medicine for a 13-week travel assignment in Newport, NH.

Contract Details

• Days; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8-hour Monday-Friday 40hr gt possible 7pm end time on Mon/Wed as clinic is open late those days
  
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
  
• Contract: 13 Weeks
  
• Location: Newport, NH
  
• Hourly Pay: $ 21.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 273.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 903.00
  
• Weekend Requirements: None/Holiday coverage if required

** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

** Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed): Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures
  
• Taking and recording vital signs and patient histories
  
• Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
  
• Preparing examination rooms and sterilizing instruments
  
• Performing basic laboratory tests and handling laboratory specimens
  
• Educating and advising patients on prescribed treatments and dietary plans
  
• Scheduling patient appointments and managing medical records
  
• Facilitating communication between the patient and healthcare team
  
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
  
• Managing medical supply inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum 2+ years CMA experience in Clinic Setting
  
• MUST be a CERTIFIED Medical Assistant (NCCT not accepted)
  
• Previous travel experience preferred
  
• Assignment is at Newport Health Center Rehab Clinic
  
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
  
• Traveler's perm address must be included in profile
  
• Experience in basic office skills is required, data entry skills preferred.
  
• Working knowledge of Windows based PC applications is required.
  
• Experience in surgical scheduling, procedures, etc. is preferred.
  
• Knowledge of community services.
  
• Must have National CMA Certification (NCCT not accepted)
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Must be able to work independently/hit the ground running
  
• Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
